What I bring along
A few things that make long road trips and shooting days a little easier. These are products I actually use.
This isn’t everything that rides along with me, just a start. More gear will be added as the journeys continue.
Camera Gear
Canon EOS R6 Mark II: My main camera for landscapes and road trip photography.
Canon EOS R6 (astro-modified): Modified to capture more of the night sky’s color, especially the reds in nebulae.
Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM: For airshows, distant details, and compressing layers in a landscape.
Canon RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM: My everyday workhorse for most landscapes and road trip scenes.
Canon RF 15-35mm F2.8 L IS USM: For big, wide scenes and night skies.
Canon RF 50mm F1.2 L USM: For details and a natural, close-to-the-eye perspective.
